In The Mood For Thai, Surry Hills

After schlepping around Surry Hills for a while, a group of friends and I decide we're hungry but lo behold it's 5pm. Every place that was recommended to me by chocolatesuze and grabyourfork opens for dinner at 6. Great. Our decisions fall to Lemongrass and In The Mood For Thai, and it's decided that Mood would actually fit our group.

Spice I Am, Surry Hills


Spice I Am is this small place (and I mean SMALL) in Surry Hills known for good cheap Thai food. If you order lots, make sure you have that skill of being able to miraculously fit everything on one small table...

Chat Thai, Haymarket


It's totally understood that I'm probably behind every single food blogger in writing something about Chat Thai. Hahah. Chat Thai has a buzzing sort of atmosphere, bordering on a lively drone. It’s not squished or overly noisy with staff who sound and look like they couldn’t care less… Like Mamak… The 2nd level is built quiet loft-like but is a bit dark though...
