Chinese Noodle Restaurant, Haymarket

After a long day I need to refuel of course! So time to go to Chinatown for some cheap dindins. Chinese Noodle Restaurant is located sort of behind Market City but there are two restaurants with identical signs, this one is right next to Menya Noodle Bar. The restaurant itself is tiny so we're led to another restaurant space which is a little emptier.

I feel like such a hipster (ironically) sitting in this tiny hole in the wall restaurant with no name on the window or any decorations. Sah hipster.
Pork and chives light pan-fried dumplings $8.80 (12/serve)

These little pot stickers were alright, the filling was a little... flat.
Salt and pepper calamari $14.80
Maybe its just me, but these look a little sad. Crispy batter though!
Xinjiang stir-fried noodles with beef $9.80
The hand made noodles are what this restaurant is famous for and they are aptly yummy with the sauce! I'd recommend that you do try one of the hand made noodle dishes.
