Bun Saigon, Toronto, Ontario

Oodles and oodles of noodles bun (rice vermicelli). Bun Saigon’s a clean little place in Toronto’s Chinatown that serves some very quite authentic Vietnamese food.

Bun Bo Hue $7CAD
Special hot and spicy Hue style vermicelli soup
Beef. Pigs' knuckles. Noodles. Broth. Lemongrass. Shrimp paste.
Bun Thit Nuong, Nem Nuong, Cha Gio $7.50CAD
Grilled pork, spring roll, spicy pork with vermicelli and vegetables
Sua Dau Nanh Lanh $2.50CAD
Cold soy bean drink
Soda Chanh Muoi $3CAD
Salted lemon with club soda
Odd innit? Preserved lemons, with club soda, sugar and ice. It's actually quite nice, no matter how slightly weird it sounds... It's one of those Vietnamese things you have to try eventually.
